Potty Humor

Jon David indicated in no uncertain terms today that he is ready to dump the diapers. I've been storing the potty chair in the downstairs bathtub behind the shower curtain waiting for the right time to introduce it to him. Today, he walked into the den with it, plopped it down in the middle of the floor and declared "I go tee tee". Okay then.

So, Eleanor and I spent most of our day sitting on the bathroom floor while Jon David sat on his little potty chair repeating the phrase "I go tee tee" over and over again, but never actually GOING tee tee.

Eleanor is very excited to be handing down her ancient potty wisdom to her little brother. She jumps around the bathroom yelling, "Jon David, are you going to be a POTTY EXPERT?!" To which he replies in his understated way, "yeah". Mostly, though, she just likes to laugh and say "HEEYYYY, look at his teeney tiney tee tee hiney!"

I think the kicker of MY day, though was when he pointed to his little potty chair and said "It Baby Tee Tee". I said "yes, that's the baby tee tee". Then he pointed to the big potty and said "It's Daddy Tee Tee". I told him yes, that's the Daddy tee tee. He got real excited, stood up off his potty seat, pushed it up against the big potty and exclaimed in his loudest voice "Baby Tee Tee Daddy Tee Tee BIG HUG!"

We're going to Target now to get the essentials....stickers, potty treats and big boy undies. Keep us in your prayers.

Is he CUTE, or what? He thinks he is as big as Ella or his daddy. I am pulling for you from afar.

How much water did you guys finally get?

Hi Mem. Yes, he's definitely as big as his 4T britches. I think the general consensus is 6-9 inches. It's all calmed down now. Thanks for your posts...I'm very excited about our new blog! Stay tuned for more!

Uncle Jordan and Aunt Jenni - Thanks so much for reading my maiden voyage in the blogosphere. Although, Jonathan said you should keep your bed blogging to yourself... ; )

Your little family cracks me up! I miss you all!

I can't believe I found 10 minutes in my day to read and write back! Work is soooo crazed!

That reminds me, we have Goff dog #4 now. I know, I know. It's totally insane at this point.
