Meet Lucy!
This is Lucy. The sweetest doll of a baby you've ever seen. She's almost 14 months and I got to play with her (and her fun mommy) at the arboretum on Friday. Lucky me! To see the rest...go to my clp blog...here. Enjoy!

SO Ella
It's Official!
...
My website is finished! My website is finished!
I'm sooooooooooooooooo excited to announce to the world (or at least the 10 people that read our blog) that Courtney Leigh Photography has a website! Yes, our very little own spot in cyberspace. There's something about having a real website that suddenly makes "Courtney Leigh Photography" seem very official, you know?
Check out my handy work (I'm a little impressed with myself on this website, so feel free to ooh and awww!) at www.courtneyleighphotography.com.
Well, it's not actually, TOTALLY finished...I NEED models (other than E & JD) for the galleries, so if you or anyone you know would like to have me come do a session with your family to use in the galleries, just let me know!
Can you feel the sheer excitement in my typing?
Yes, I'm GIDDY! Honestly, a dream come true.
And since it wouldn't be right to leave a post about my new photo website without including a photo...here's eleanor playing dress up at gigibawbaw's new house (which is a whole 'nuther post entirely...it rocks!) after her first ballet lesson. She's a ballerina pricess.

I'd LOVE to hear what everyone (yes, all 10 of you) think of the site, so pleeeease leave a comment...good OR bad...and let me know whatcha think!
I'm off to bounce around in my giddy-ness until it's time to pick up the kiddos. Heeeeeeeee!

BB Sneak Peek!
Aunt BB came to visit us this weekend and we had soooo much fun! We had dinner at Mi Cocina, ice cream, a girls shopping spree, lunch at Neimans, and a Sunday morning Allman Brothers Dance Party!
Thank you for such a wonderful time, BB! We can't wait to see you again!
I have lots more pictures, but this one will have to tide you over for now...and yes, that's a rice crispie treat ice cream come and, yes, BB actually ordered it! She didn't have it for long, though! We love you, BB!

First Day of School & Happy Birthday Paw Paw!
Happy Birthday, Dad! I love you! Here's your birthday present...enjoy!

First off, they L-O-V-E-D school. No tears, no clinging. Jon David did run back and give one last bear hug to his daddy...which, of course, melted his heart, but they did awesome.
Eleanor has "recess" right before pick-up, so when I got there she was beat red in the face...but beaming from ear-to-ear. She told me on the way home that a boy chased her all around the playground. I said, "oh, no. Were you worried?"
She said, "No, mommy, he was just doing it because he likes me".
Jon David, on the other hand, gave his teachers quite a scare. He sneaked out of his room. They found him running up and down the handicap ramps in the narthex. Not sure how I feel about that, but, gotta say, it made me feel a tiny bit better about myself!
They asked me tonight at supper if they could go back to school again. I said, well, yes...you're going back tomorrow. You would have thought I told them The Wiggles were coming to our house. They were beside themselves with excitement. Wait till they figure out they get to go Wednesday, too.
We took quite a few pictuers, but I haven't gotten them done yet. Here's just one when we got home from their first day of school.
